Ranarangam starring Sharwanand as the lead released yesterday in theatres. Kalyani Priyadarshan and Kajal Aggarwal played the heroines in the movie. Usually, Kajal is always considered as the main female lead and comparatively, Kalyani is Kajal's junior in many ways. But, shockingly, Kalyani was given a lengthy runtime than Kajal. Kajal too acknowledged the same during the promotions and made it clear that she will be seen for less time in the movie, and asked her fans not to get disappointed.

But, much to the shock of the heroine, the makers chopped off more scenes of Kajal from the movie which she also did not expect to take place. Kajal fans are heavily disappointed now and are sending tweets to the actress, not to accept such offers in the future again.

Kajal accepted the movie knowing that she will be given a less runtime, which she admitted too. But, what's becoming problematic for the heroine is that the makers chopped off a few scenes involving the actress which actually resulted in the audiences wonder why Kajal is in the film and why a heroine enjoying star status has to do such a role that does not make any sense to the script. Adding more to this, the makers also chopped off the glam song that was shot on Kajal.

All these things have become the reasons for Kajal being very upset now. The makers realized the same too. During the media interaction today, Sharwanand concluded the event thanking Kajal and revealed that they had to cut off a lot of scenes involving Kajal. In a way, he indirectly made an apology to the star heroine, in order to make damage control.
