Jagan requests Modi to deport 35 youths from China

With the coronavirus spreading in China hugely, AP CM Jagan has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to direct the Indian embassy in China to evacuate 35 youths who were in the Wuhan city of China.

All the youths hail from Andhra Pradesh. Jagan also showed concern about the health of the youths and also expressed doubts that they might even get the virus.

"I request you to direct the concerned in Indian embassy in China to evacuate them (trapped employees) to India at the earliest and provide all necessary assistance," Jagan said.

"Later, they along with others, were sent to Wuhan for training. The batch was to return to India in the first week of March this year," he added.

The youths who were trapped in the Wuhan city belongs to the staff of the Panel Optodisplay Technology Private Limited(POPTL) who went to the dragon city for training purpose.
