Undavalli opined Chandrababu Naidu has to face defeat as he offered more priority to publicity than work. He went on to say, 'People hadn't taken the 1 lakh crore corruption allegation on Jagan seriously. They preferred him as Chief Minister even after he refrained from going to Assembly for an year'.
The Senior Politician suggested YS Jaganmohan Reddy to be on good terms with PM Narendra Modi and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao in the best interest of the state. He pointed out, ''We are yet to receive assets worth Rs 23,000 crore which is our share as per AP Reorganisation Act 2014. Inter'State Issues has to be resolved in a amicable manner'.
Undavalli welcomed the decision of Jagan to establish a Judicial Body on Polavaram Project. He suggested the new CM to have a long-term plan for successful completion of the project.
