Daggubati Venkateswara Rao's Son Hitesh Chenchuram joined YSR Congress with the assurance on Purchuru MLA Ticket. But now, YS Jaganmohan Reddy is preferring Venkateswara Rao over Hitesh Chenchuram for Parchuru Seat.

In the recent internal survey, YCP Leadership received the feedback that Hitesh Chenchuram doesn't have much winning chances. PK's Team gave an indication that victory for even Venkateswara Rao won't be a cakewalk against Sitting TDP MLA Eluru Sambasiva Rao. That is why Jagan want NTR's Son-in-Law to contest 2019 Elections instead of fielding his Son.

Daggubati Venkateswara Rao enjoys good reputation in Parchuru Constituency which was represented by him until 2014. Staying away from active politics in the past 5 years brought down the grip he holds on the segment to some extent. Still, He will be the strongest candidate with YCP to fight against TDP.

A clarity on whom among Father and Son would contest 2019 Elections will be arriving in a day or two. It's going to be a tough decision for sure..!
