In a quick turn of events, the IT department sleuths have raided the residences of P Srinivas Rao who has worked as a personal secretary with the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu.

It is believed that the raids are still continuing. Some of the closed circles are citing that around 50 personal belonging to the IT Department were involved in these rapid searches which were conducted in the houses of Srinivas in Vijayawada and Hyderabad.

The para-military forces of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) have assisted the IT department to conduct the raids without any problems reportedly.

Srinivas who has earlier worked as an IAS officer from 1995 to 2004 later got in touch with the TDP supremo and later worked as PS with babu since 2004. He also worked as PS when bab became CM in 2014.

Following some information from reliable sources that Srinivas has earned a lot of money when the TDP was in power the IT Department has raided his house. They are also looking at the possibilities of Srinivas indulging in any benami activities.
