At the India Today Conclave 2019, YS Jaganmohan Reddy reiterated that he have the dream of becoming the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He went on to say, 'The sole agenda is to stay alive even after the death. To make it happen, I have to do so much to the people. Padayatra for over 3,000 km transforms you as a person and motivates to do something to the public. Praja Sankalp Yatra has given hope to the Andhrites'.

When asked about his stand on the national politics, YS Jaganmohan Reddy admitted he doesn't see himself as a national level-leader. At the same time, He didn't hesitate to say both Congress and BJP has done injustice to AP. 'We are betrayed again and again. Our only demand will be Special Category Status. We keep our options open,' he told.

On the 15 chargesheets filed against him, Jagan recalled there were no cases on him when his Father was alive.

Quizzed about tie-up with Congress, YCP Chief opined that the national party doesn't exist in AP. He didn't mind saying YCP doesn't need Congress but Congress needs YCP.
