Hyd Has The Potential To Be India's Film Hub, Says KCR

Tap to expand
Telangana CM KCR is not a man of actions, he is a man of actions. He believes development is the need of the hour in the state and he wants to develop Warangal, which is a historic city.

KCR recently attended an event in the city and remembered the words said by Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bacchan who said Hyderabad has the possible potential to become the major force in the Indian Film industry and asked for a lending hand.

"I will soon meet with the Tollywood bigwigs and discuss the plan of action for realizing Amitabh ji's dream. Amitabh ji had told me during the ANR Foundation event sometime back that Hyderabad has the potential to produce more than 250 movies per year and that with the government's support, the city will compete with Mumbai in film production. We will strive to make it possible," KCR said.

There is a point in what Amitabh said. Hyderabad has Ramoji Film City which is the biggest film city in the world. If the government lends some help to the entertainment filed it can cherish for sure.
