He further said that at least 14 former Congressmen were now BJP MLAs, Similarly, at least seven of the 11 MPs of the BJP in Haryana have a Congress background, he added. He also said that he was given offers for six times to join the BJP. He said all these offers came during the last three months. He said despite the offers, he has no intention of joining the BJP. 'I am a diehard Congressman and will remain one come what may. But, it pains to see that the honest and hard-working party workers were being ignored in the ticket distribution.
Haryana Congress is divided into at least three major factions. One of them is led by former CM Bhupinder Hooda, while present PCC chief Selja Kumari and Ashok Tanwar lead the other two factions.
