There is a triangular fight in the East Delhi Lok Sabha Constituency between BJP, Congress and AAP. While BJP fielded Gautam Gambhir, AAP's Atishi and Congress Leader Arvinder Singh Lovely are contesting from here.

Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia accused Gambhir of using a dupe to campaign for him so that he could avoid the scorching heat. In the photograph shared by him, The former Indian Cricketer was sitting inside a four wheeler when his lookalike was waving his hands to the crowd while standing on top of the vehicle.

AAP Leaders kept mocking Gautam Gambhir with the post, 'Two Voter Cards, Two Gautam Gambhirs'. They alleged Ex-Cricketer not only have two voter ids but also relied on his duplicate for poll campaigning.

The Lookalike of Gambhir is a BJP Activist who is familiar to the former Cricketer since few years. On that particular day, Gambhir campaigned only for 15 minutes standing on the vehicle. He preferred sitting in the car ss the turnout was less. That is when Gautam Arora got into Gambhir's car and took his place. Just alike Gambhir, Mr Arora wore white dress, cap and a garland as if he was the candidate. Even the BJP Leaders accompanying him behaved as if he was the actual candidate. People assumed the man standing on the campaign vehicle is none other than Gautam Gambhir.

Neither Gambhir nor his Dupe refused to react on the controversy. BJP Leaders tried to downplay the dupe stunt by saying Gambhir took rest in his car for 15 minutes after fainting while campaigning.
