Mysuru Lok Sabha MP Pratap Simha has waded into another controversy by saying that people who Prime Minister Narendra Modi are like those "who spit towards the sky and end up with it on their face". The reaction came after Karnataka BJP leaders fail to compensate flood victims. Congress and Janata Dal (secular) leaders ed Prime Minister Narender Modi for showing differences in flood-hit victims.

Karnataka CM Yeddyurappa has been criticized for failing to provide compensation. For the past one month, the CM has been postponing the help. Mysore Bjp MP Pratap Simha remark sparks row as he said, who spit towards the sky and end up with it on their face. The congress leaders denounce for his statement and said 60 days from the flood in Northern Karnataka is over, 80 people were killed and 30 people went missing and no response from the government.

Congress criticized 25 BJP MP's of the state and said not doing anything for the development of the state. Pratap Simha BJP MP said in 2019 elections 25 MPs were elected and in 2014, 17 MPs were elected and the increase could not have come without the MPs working for the people.
