Much to everyone's surprise, Chiranjeevi extended support to the 3 Capitals Proposal placed by the Experts Panel appointed by the YSR Congress Government. He wondered what would people of Uttar Andhra and Rayalaseema gain if Amaravati was built borrowing Rs 1 lakh crore? Chiru expressed the opinion that decentralization of power must happen for development of all the regions in Andhra Pradesh. He exuded confidence on the YS Jagan-led AP Government when it comes to the future of Andhrites. At the same time, Megastar appealed the State Government to do justice to the farmers who were made to take part in the land pooling scheme.


Naturally, The comments made by Chiranjeevi hasn't gone down well with the people of Guntur and Krishna. Thullur Farmers who were staging protest since few days questioned how could Chiru speak in such manner when his Brother Pawan Kalyan has been opposing the 3 capitals proposal. Some of them had even gone to the extent of saying, 'Chiranjeevi had never responded on people's issue...what is his motive behind this statement? He is supporting the proposal just because of the huge assets owned by him in Visakhapatnam. Megastar shouldn't forget that he is eating the rice cultivated by Farmers. Won't let his films release if Chiru continues to go against our wishes'.


Analysts say, Chiranjeevi invited trouble by responding on a controversial topic. He should have played it safe by ignoring the capital issue just alike other celebrities. Certainly, Pawan Kalyan willn't be happy with the statement issued by his Elder Brother.
