Hyderabad MP Asadudduin Owaisi landed himself in controversy, commenting on Ayodhya verdict given by the Supreme Court. A complaint was lodged in Bhopal against the MP.

The apex court has given its verdict in the favor of Hindus and Ram Mandir. Responding to this verdict, Owaisi said that the 5 acres of land should not be accepted and the land should be rejected.

"Muslims are poor, but we can collect money to buy a 5-acre plot and build a mosque. We do not want your charity," the MP said.

"Like the Muslim Personal Law Board, we are not convinced with the decision. The Supreme Court may be supreme but it is not infallible. Those who demolished the Babri Masjid have been given the task of building a Ram temple by building a trust," he added.

Seems like the comments did not go well with Congress leader Salman Nizami. He asked why the 5 acres of land should be rejected. He also said that Muslims should build a mosque along with an institution where Hindu and Muslims students can study together. "No one needs to be disappointed. Only positive energy and thoughts can deal with hatred," Nizami said.
