CBN's House Submerged In Flood Water

Heavy inflows into the Prakasam Barrage is posing a threat to the structures located on the banks of River Krishna. Second Danger Signal was flashed after the water level in the barrage had risen to 15-feet.

The rented accommodation of Chandrababu Naidu in Vundavalli was submerged in the flood water. TDP Chief had already moved to Hyderabad where he built a new residence while serving as AP CM. Security Personnel of the Opposition Leader vacated the Happy Resorts in Mangalagiri. Staff shifted the furniture to the first floor of the house before evacuation.

Earlier, YCP Government served notice over the unauthorised construction of Chandrababu Naidu's rented accommodation. The builder hasn't maintained mandatory 22.6 meters of Maximum Flood Level (MFL) to avoid submergence. In addition, There is a clear violation of River Construction Act, Green Tribunal and Environmental Laws. Flood water in the backyard of Babu's residence itself is an indication of norms violated during the construction. Could TDP President still defend living in an illegal construction?
