Getting elected as MLA in 2014 Elections, particularly from Hindupur, wasn't a difficult task at all for Balakrishna. Why because, This constituency is known to be the bastion of TDP. Both NTR and Harikrishna were elected as MLAs from this segment in the past. The fact that Balayya was a first-timer came in handy. Experience of Chandrababu Naidu , Support of Jana Sena & BJP also worked in his favour. He managed to win against YCP's Naveen Nischal just with a margin of 16,000 votes.

2019 Elections is going to be a different story altogether. Balakrishna is no more a first-timer. Neither Jana Sena nor BJP backs TDP anymore. People of Hindupur would deliver their mandate based on progress achieved so far. PA Controversy, Group Wars, Slapping Incidents, Scarcity Of Water & Unavailability could influence the voters in the upcoming election.

Although doubts have been raised over the winning chances by leaders within the Ruling Party, Balakrishna is so confident about his victory in Hindupur. He already finalised the muhurat to kickstart the campaigning. Leaders have been assigned duty to handle any kind of protests during the constituency visit.  Let's see what's going to happen..!
