Since YSRCP supremo Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy came into power as CM, every scheme he announces and every move he takes is linked with religion, Hindu religion precisely.

Many rumors were been circulating in the state regarding the alleged propaganda of Jagan's efforts to Christianise Tirumala, the most sacred place for Hindus.

BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has recently visited the Tirumala temple and offered his prayers. Later he held a meeting with media persons and spoke his mind on these rumours surrounding Jagan.

"I don’t believe the propaganda of the Chief Minister’s opponents that he is trying to Christianise Tirupati. I have found no evidence of it," he said.

"I look forward to more changes. The Tirumala temple income should be properly audited," he added.

The MP has also demanded a probe on the irregularities in the administration of the temple that happened during the old government. He added that there is no proper audit of the income and expenditure of the temple.
