AP BJP is trying to establish itself as an alternative to regional parties by attracting leaders from TDP, YCP, Jana Sena and Congress. Four Rajya Sabha MPs of TDP joined the Saffron Party. Few more Leaders will be heading in the same path in the near future.

BJP MLA Madhav made interesting comments on the present situation in AP: 'Leaders of various parties have been in touch with the State-level BJP Leaders. Former CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is one among them'.

When a reporter questioned whether the BJP Leadership is in touch with Chiranjeevi as well, Madhav replied: 'State-Level BJP Leaders aren't in touch with Chiru. May be, He held talks with BJP's National-level Leaders'.

Earlier, There were reports of BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav meeting Chiranjeevi to invite him into BJP but the Megastar turning down the proposal. Even BJP Spokesperson Vijay Babu disclosed BJP has tried to lure Chiru several times in the past.
