Former Telugu Yuvath President Devineni Avinash got a good position in the YSR congress within a short time of joining the party. He recently resigned from the TDP party and joined the ruling party.

Jagan appointed Avinash as the party in-charge of the Vijayawada (East) Assembly constituency. Earlier, Avinash's father Devineni Rajasekhar used to represent the constituency.

Avinash, who has a great following in the Vijayawada (East) always wanted to contest from the same constituency but TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu gave the party ticket to Gadde Rammohan Rao, Rammohan Rao won the elections.

Avinash shared his happiness for appointing him as the in-charge of Vijayawada (East).

"That is how a leader should reward a loyalist, unlike Naidu who only made empty promises," Avinash said.
