All India Forward Bloc party shocked many main political parties in municipal polls, All India Forward Bloc party won Leela or Aiza municipality, a town in Jogulamba district. Here All India Forward Bloc party won most of the wards, TRS won only six wards. By winning the majority of the wards in Aiza Municipality, All India Forward Bloc party showed its dominance.

In 2018 assembly polls All India Forward Bloc party candidate Korukanti Chandra Patel won with a margin of 26,419 votes. The All India Forward Bloc party candidate Korukanti Chandra Patel got 61,400 votes, TRS party candidate Somarapu Satyanarayana got 34,981 votes. If the party concentrate and contest in the coming elections with main leaders in Telangana it might become the main opposition party in Telangana state.
