Tamil star hero Suriya who enjoyed superstardom in Telugu over a decade had lost his market completely because of his poor story selection. None of his recent films worked at the box-office and the collections of his last two films 'NGK' and 'Bandobasth' shows his downfall in Telugu.


He is hungry to get back on track. His brother Karthi scored a blockbuster recently with 'Khaidi'. This out-of-the-box film impressed everyone and set the cash registers ringing. This made Suriya step out of his comfort zone and attempt a sports drama this time directed by 'Guru' fame Sudha Kongara.


In the meanwhile, he is gearing up to release his wife Jyothika's comedy film 'Jackpot'. This film was a success in Tamil and it is getting dubbed now in Telugu. Jyothika and senior actress Revathi are playing key roles in this film which will be released on 21st November.
